Homemade Peach Iced Tea
Refreshing, fruity, and naturally sweet – perfect for summer days in the garden.

Traditional Method

1\. Prepare the peach syrup:
Cut the peaches into cubes (no need to peel). Put the peaches, 120 g honey, and 250 ml water into a saucepan. Bring to a boil, lightly mashing the fruit with a wooden spoon. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes to extract the flavors.
Optional: Strain the syrup for a clearer texture.
Tip: Save the strained pulp to flavor yogurt or compote.


2\. Brew the tea:
Heat 1.75 liters of water. Infuse the 8 tea bags for 6 to 8 minutes (depending on your desired strength), then remove the tea bags and let the tea cool.


3\. Assemble:
In a large pitcher, combine the tea, peach syrup, lemon slices, and mint leaves.


4\. Serve:
Pour into large glasses with ice cubes, a slice of lemon, a piece of fresh peach, and a sprig of mint.
Thermomix Method

1. Prepare the peach syrup:
Add 500 g diced peaches (with skin), 120 g honey, and 250 ml water into the Thermomix bowl.
Heat 8 min / 100°C / speed 1 (no measuring cup).
Blend 10 sec / speed 5.
Optional: Strain through a fine sieve.


2. Brew the tea:
Briefly rinse the bowl.
Add 1.75 liters of water and the 8 tea bags.
Heat 7 min / 90°C / speed spoon.
Let it infuse for a few more minutes, then remove the tea bags.


3. Assemble:
Combine the tea and peach syrup in a large pitcher, adding lemon slices, mint, and ice cubes.


4. Serve as above.
